![]() We are the people that sit at the 'cool table'. The Kell Robotics Team isn't about building robots or gadgets. It is about educating student, parents, and the community about what engineers and scientists really do and why their work is relevent. We do this by participating in a number of outreach and educational activities. We also get to use that little muscle between our ears and build a robot for competition. The primary recruitment focus is on non-gearhead type students. Especially young women. You need NO mechanical or electrical skills to participate. We need journalists, photographers, writers, graphic artists, thinkers, web designers, animators, architects, and especially future school teachers. Each spring we invite a select group of students to travel with the team and participate in activities at a competition. Maybe you will get an invitation and have a chance to take a break from school. But if you don't get an invitation, you can still join the club. Just click on the "contact us" button and send us an email and a representative will get back to you with information." The Leonardo da Vinci robotic car is pictured. |
