Donating to Kell Robotics Information:

What methods are available for contributing to the Kell Robotics Team?

1)    A direct contribution of cash to the team.  Write a check to Kell High School.  In the memo field put ‘Kell Robotics’

2)    A direct material contribution.  This is usually in response to a specific request.

3)    An indirect contribution of cash.  The team needs a specific item, and your organization makes the cash payment directly to the vendor.

4)    A contribution of cash, or material to our 501(c)(3) conduit, the Cobb County Schools Educational Foundation.

Instructions will be given on how to make the transmittal.  A transmittal form will be handled by the school principal and the foundation president.  The donor will send the funds to the Foundation with documentation stating that the funds are for Kell High School Robotics. 

The foundation manages the funds and sends out any thank you letters for donations over $50 and sends notification to the principal that funds have been received for robotics.

The foundation can even receive credit card payments.  When the team needs to use funds, a check request must be submitted with the principal's approval.  Any spending of these funds must be approved in advance by the principal.  Any solicitations asking for contributions to the foundation should be cc’d to the foundation director.

The foundation is available to organizations that require delivery of funds to a 501(c)(3) organization.
